I have been a professional photographer for 20 years and have worked for a variety of clients, across a range of genres. I worked in Scotland from 1998 – 2006 were I worked for a variety of newspapers, The Edinburgh Evening News, The Scotsman, The Sunday Herald and then for the last 6 years as a full time staff photographer for The Sunday Times. When I moved back to the North East in 2006 I went freelance. I have worked across all genres but at the moment I specialise in Interior Photography working for magazines such as Ideal Home and House Beautiful. I also continue to work for Newspaper, other magazines and local businesses doing PR and advertising work.
I have a passion for photography and love the fact that I can work doing something I love. I enjoy every part of my job and the fact that I can earn money while doing it is an added bonus. I hope I can pass on my passion to the creative enterprise students and give them a great introduction to the world of photography.
