Music students all from Burnside Business & Enterprise College were mentored by Border Scout‘s Sam Burt to write an original song, perform it and record a demo. No easy task for only 3 days spent in music studios Loft Music and Blast Recording. The 4 students from Year 10, performed their song at the Final Show and are also to be heard by professional manager with decades of music business experience – Keith Armstrong of Kitchenware Records. Have a listen…
The music students who produced this song are Chloe Hill, Reece Lambert, Emily Vallance and Libby Wright. The students were challenged with songwriting, recording and rehearsals for their live performance at Northumbria University in front of a crowds of hundreds. An incredible night for some incredibly talented young musicians – well done!
