In a world where the only constant is constant change, being able to balance the needs of today with the demands of tomorrow is a careful balancing act. This project explores the feeling of awe.

Awe is the wonder we feel when encountering something powerful that we can’t easily explain. A mix of both fear and wonder, it is an emotion that has been shelved in recent years due to the pandemic as people traded awe-inspiring moments for stability, survival and certainty. Here, we re-discover and reveal magical, awe-inspiring moments. Using stop motion animation to bring people together and leave people inspired.

Project Outcome

Using stop-motion animation, the students clear brain fog and reveal an awe-inspiring moment, creating a scene that they feel brings people together and leaves people inspired.

A huge congralutions goes out to Caitlin Boustead, Ted Roberts, Oscar Hicks, Jessie Richardson, George Potter and Amy Behan all from Whitley Bay High School, for their awe-inspiring moments.
